Introduction to The Bozjan Southern Front

The Bozjan Southern Front is an open-world instance where you will need to defeat enemies to obtain

Mettle to increase your Resistance Rank.

Mettle is obtained via completing

Skirmishes or

Critical Engagements.

Skirmishes

Skirmishes are similar to FATEs and will spawn around the map depending on various conditions.

Critical Engagements

Critical Engagements are triggered via varying conditions such as defeating enemies or completing Skirmishes.

Unlike

Skirmishes, you can only join

Critical Engagements via the Resistance Recruitment window which will notify you whenever one is active.

As your Resistance Rank increases, the explorable area of The Bozjan Southern Front will increase.

You're able to change class at any time outside of combat to deal with different situations as well as use your mount (without flying) to traverse the open field.

As with Eureka, there is a quest line to follow for The Bozjan Southern Front that will reward you with significant quantities of Mettle to help raise your Resistance Rank as well as unlock new features in the instance.

After completing the first quest by speaking to Dmitar (X: 15.2 Y: 29.2), you'll be able to speak to the Resistance Commander (X: 15.0 Y: 30.5) who will increase your Resistance Rank whenever you have enough Mettle to do so. The steps of the relic weapon will essentially be gated by your Resistance Rank so it is advisable to choose the methods that involve Bozja as opposed to Raids or FATEs in the overworld.

Forgotten Fragments and Lost Actions

Once you reach Resistance Rank 2, accept and complete the quest Lost No Longer which will require you to deliver a Forgotten Fragment to Dmitar.

Forgotten Fragments are various items that are rewarded for defeating mobs, or completing

Skirmishes and

Critical Engagements. They can also be bought from the Market Board.

Forgotten Fragments.
